I’ve never ever seen anyone wear their shirt only half tucked in on purpose. It seems to me like one of those things that only brave people will do. And then those brave people will get reprimanded and scoffed at for their horribly deliberately pretentious attempt at style. Things like wearing only the collar of a sweater and wrapping the rest of it around your neck like a scarf? It’s a good idea and it’s a pretty good look, but does anyone actually have the gall to do it? Not many. It’s like there are these random little things that are somewhat common practice but nobody does because they are afraid of being judged or afraid that they can’t pull it off. It’s kind of a shame. That’s what style is for, anyway, isn’t it? It’s about taking risks to assume your own personality through what you wear. At least for me, anyway. At any rate, I am, unfortunately, of those people afraid to be judged. But, in the winter when I run out of scarves and my collection of bad sweaters is sitting pretty, who knows what will happen.
